The Society of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart, also known as the Josephites, is a Society of Apostolic Life of Priests and Brothers dedicated to the cause of Evangelization within the African American Community in the United States.
Josephite Priests and Brothers live and work in urban and rural areas of the United States. Our apostolate finds us in Parish Ministries, Youth Ministry, Education Ministry, and Ministries to Hospitals and Prisons. The Josephite Community is also involved in the National Pro-Life Movement, as well as Social Justice and Peace issues that affect the African American Community.
The “Rite Stuff”
Do you have the Rite Stuff to become a Josephite Priest or Brother?
Community living, community giving in our African American communities. It's where we Work, it's where we pray, it's what we do.
Sharing all that God has given us with our African American brothers and sisters is our way of life.
If you have the Rite Stuff, and you want to Share it in this special ministry, join the Josephites.
